Our Story
A journey of connection, balance, and creative expression.
The Beginning
Luna Studio was born from a simple yet powerful idea: that movement and creativity are deeply interconnected. We wanted to create a space where people could nurture both their physical bodies and their creative spirits.
What started as a conversation about the lack of holistic spaces in The Hague has grown into a vibrant community hub where yoga mats and easels coexist in harmony.
Letter from the owner
Hi, I’m Gio
For me, movement has never just been about the physical. It was through movement that I truly found myself. Whether I was throwing punches boxing, lifting weights or simply walking, I realized that moving my body helped me align my emotions and my thoughts. It became my outlet, my therapy, and my strength.
Over the last six years as a fitness and health coach, I’ve taught everything from Boxing and HIIT to Reformer Pilates and Indoor Cycling. But through all those classes and training sessions, I realized something was missing. We focus so much on becoming physically strong, but we often forget the importance of fostering connection.
I’ve lived in The Hague for almost five years, and to be honest, it wasn’t always easy to find my space and my people. I struggled to find a community where I could meet like-minded people. In fact, some of my closest friends today started as my clients. That connection showed me that people need more than just a place to sweat—they are craving a place to belong.
That is why I created Luna Studio.
I wanted to build the “safe space” I wished I had when I first moved here. A space that honors the fact that you don’t always want to do a heavy workout. Some days you need to sweat it out, but other days you might need to paint, journal, or do a breathwork session.
This studio is a place to nourish your mind, body, and soul. It’s a place to make friends, get creative, and listen to what you need. Whether you are here for the community or the movement, this space is yours. Welcome!
